Acervo was established in 2019 with the vision to foster academic excellence and provide a platform for scholarly communication across multiple disciplines. What began as a small initiative to support research dissemination soon evolved into a globally recognized, peer-reviewed journal that is now indexed in major academic databases including Scopus.
The journal was founded by a group of academicians and researchers committed to addressing the growing need for an inclusive, multidisciplinary publication space. Since its inception, Acervo has been committed to publishing high-quality research across science, technology, humanities, social sciences, education, management, and more.
Over the years, the journal has consistently maintained high editorial standards, ensuring that each published article undergoes a thorough peer-review process. The number of annual issues has grown significantly from four issues in its early years to twelve full issues per year by 2015, reflecting the growing volume and diversity of submissions.
In 2020, Acervo embraced Open Access publishing, making all its content freely available to researchers, institutions, and the public. This move reinforced the journal’s mission to increase the visibility and accessibility of global research.
By 2024, Acervo had published more than 1,000 peer-reviewed articles, expanded its editorial board internationally, and received acknowledgment for its rigorous publication ethics and cross-disciplinary reach.
Today, Acervo stands as a symbol of scholarly integrity, diversity, and innovation. With authors and readers from over 40 countries, the journal continues to evolve adapting to digital trends, expanding thematic focus, and embracing interdisciplinary dialogue to meet the changing needs of the academic world.
