At Acervo Journal, we follow a transparent and rigorous publication process to ensure the quality and credibility of all published articles.
1. Manuscript Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts through the official online submission portal or via the journal’s email address. The submission must follow the journal’s Author Guidelines.
2. Initial Screening
The editorial office reviews the submitted manuscript to ensure it meets the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and ethical standards. Manuscripts failing to meet basic criteria may be returned to the authors for revision before peer review.
3. Plagiarism Check
All submissions undergo plagiarism detection using standard software. Manuscripts with high similarity scores will be rejected or sent back for correction.
4. Peer Review Process
The manuscript is assigned to experts in the relevant field for a double-blind peer review. Reviewers evaluate the originality, methodology, clarity, and significance of the research.
5. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ comments, the editorial board makes one of the following decisions:
- Accept as is
- Minor revisions required
- Major revisions required
- Reject
6. Revision and Resubmission
If revisions are requested, the authors must revise the manuscript and resubmit it within the given timeline. The revised version may undergo further review if necessary.
7. Final Acceptance
Upon satisfactory revision and approval by the editorial board, the manuscript is formally accepted for publication. An Acceptance Letter is issued to the author.
8. Article Processing and Payment
After acceptance, authors are required to complete the following:
- Copyright Transfer: Submit the signed copyright/consent form.
- Article Processing Charges (APC): Pay the publication fee as communicated in the acceptance letter.
Payment Details:
- Indian Authors: ₹2360 (₹2000 + 18% GST)
- Foreign Authors: USD 150
Note: Proof of payment must be emailed to the editorial office within the specified timeline to confirm publication.
9. Copyediting and Proofreading
The manuscript undergoes professional editing, formatting, and typesetting. Proofs are sent to the authors for final corrections.
10. Online Publication
The article is published in the assigned issue of the journal and made available on the journal website. Authors are notified once the article is live.
